The data presented in this directory are not a harmonized 10-meter HLS product, but the preliminary input data created at the 10-meter pixel size to investigate methodologies for harmonizing Landsat and Sentinel-2 data at the 10-meter spatial scale. These data represent the initial phase of our research. Specifically, Landsat 30-meter surface reflectance data in the World Reference System 2 (WRS2) path/row scenes were resampled to 10 meters using the nearest-neighbor algorithm into the Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) tiles. Sentinel-2 20-meter and 60-meter pixels were geometrically subdivided into 10-meter pixels. The view angle effects on surface reflectance have been normalized for both Landsat and Sentinel-2, but the effects of different ground sampling distances on reflectance were not addressed in this dataset.           

In short, the HLS project is not producing any form of harmonized 10-meter products in HLS Version 2.0.
